What we collect, and why
We only collect personal information when you choose to send it to us. We do not track you around the web or build a profile of you.
When you use our enquiry form
If you fill in the contact form, we collect your name, email address, telephone number and the message you write. We use this to reply to you, arrange a visit, and answer your questions. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who get in touch about care, and taking steps you have asked us to take.
When you apply for a job
If you use our careers form, we collect your name, email, telephone number and your message, along with any CV or details you choose to email us. We use this to consider your application. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in recruiting staff and taking steps towards a possible employment contract at your request.
When you call or email us
If you phone or email us directly, we keep what you tell us for as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry.
Who we share it with
We never sell your information, and we don't share it for marketing. We do use a small number of trusted suppliers who process information on our behalf, under contract and only on our instructions:
- Web3Forms — delivers our website form submissions to our inbox.
- Our email provider — where your enquiry arrives and is stored.
- Vercel — hosts this website.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the safety of our residents and staff.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry messages only for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and for a short, reasonable period afterwards, then we delete them. We keep unsuccessful job applications for up to 6 months, then delete them, unless you ask us to remove them sooner.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct anything that's wrong;
- ask us to delete your information, or to stop or limit how we use it;
- object to us using it; and
- ask us to move it to another organisation, where that applies.
To do any of this, just contact us using the details above. We'll respond within one month.
