Your questions, answered.

Everything families most often ask us. If your question isn't here, please call 01737 361409 or email bolterscorner@yahoo.co.uk.

Yes. Each room comes with an electric profiling bed, a wardrobe, cabinets and a television. But we'd rather it didn't stay looking like "a room" — so we encourage families to bring in familiar things: photos, ornaments, a favourite chair, whatever makes it feel like home. People settle far more quickly when the space is genuinely their own.

Absolutely. Our chefs cater for all sorts of dietary needs, and everything is cooked fresh each day — with food available around the clock, not only at set mealtimes.

They work closely with the nursing team, residents and families to get each person's meals right, down to individual likes, dislikes and requirements.

Yes — we're a pet-friendly home. A much-loved pet is part of the family, and we're happy to welcome them in too.

Family and friends are always welcome. There are comfortable visiting rooms and quiet garden spaces to sit in, or residents can have visitors in their own room if they'd prefer the privacy.

And if you've a special request — a particular time, a celebration, anything at all — just ask. We'll always do our best to make it work.

Of course — and we'd encourage it. We're right by Banstead village, so there are plenty of restaurants, cafés and shops a short distance away, plus parks and pubs for a gentler afternoon out. Time spent together away from the home does everyone the world of good.

Fees depend on the level of care someone needs, so there's no one-size-fits-all price — and we keep it straightforward and honest.

Before anyone moves in, we carry out a proper assessment to understand their needs, preferences and the support they'll require. That tells us the right level of care, and the fee follows from it. The simplest next step is a quick chat — please get in touch and we'll talk it through.

We know there's nothing you worry about more. Keeping people safe here starts with knowing them well, so safety is built around each person rather than applied as a blanket rule. Our team is trained, attentive and always close by.

We assess each resident carefully to spot any risks, then put a personalised care and safety plan in place. That might mean closer monitoring, particular equipment, or arranging a room in a way that suits them — whatever keeps them both safe and comfortable.

And we keep talking. We stay in close contact with families about any concerns, and our team's training is always kept up to date, so we're ready for changing needs. The aim is simple: not only that your relative is safe, but that you can rest easy knowing it.
